Florida travel guide to Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach is a great family Florida vacation

Daytona Beach is continuously rated one of the best family vacations areas in Florida. Take in a festival, play on the beach, or hop aboard a bus tour! There’s no shortage of activity taking place in this great, family-oriented part of Florida. And thanks to the city’s trolley route, Votran City Line Trolley, it’s easy to access entertainment, dining, shopping and other experiences throughout the Daytona Beach area.

Cruise down the Tomoka River on a 27-foot catamaran while bald eagles soar overhead and gators lurk below. The 1-hour cruise with  Captain T’s Tour and Charter Co. will delight children.

Art Hop

Make a special stop at the Museum of Arts and Sciences to see its new Helene B. Roberson Visible Storage Building. There’s no other place in Florida like this 4,400 square-foot building and it’s full of interesting artifacts including items from the Age of Napoleon Collection.
