Florida Vacation Guide: ZZ Top coming to St. Augustine

Earlier this month, beards were in the headlines as history was made with The Walt Disney Company’s decision to lift its beard ban, allowing employees to don facial hair for the first time in the park’s history. Beards are (sort of) making news again today with the announcement that ZZ Top will be performing at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on June 8 with the show starting at 6:30pm.

Who’s ZZ Top?

Even if you weren’t big into the music scene in the 1980s, you’re more than likely familiar with the bearded band from Texas known as ZZ Top. If you’re not familiar with the name, you would still likely be able to sing along to many of their hit songs such as “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Legs.”

Sharing the stage with these iconic rockers at their St. Augustine concert on June 8 will be country artist Gretchen Wilson and rock band 3 Doors Down. 3 Doors Down is best known for their hit, “Kryptonite” while Gretchen Wilson rose to fame with her hit “Redneck Woman.”
