Florida Vacation Guide to Aventura Mall in Miami

The shopping experience is elevated a bit at Aventura Mall in Miami. It’s a cultural experience, really, with art, culture and dining to explore. You know – beyond all the shopping! Visitors and locals alike enjoy shopping the 300 stores spread out across the 2.7 million square feet of space at the Aventura Mall.

So many malls, so little time! There’s a lot of shopping in South Florida, but Aventura Mall has a couple of awards under its proverbial belt. This mecca for affluent, sophisticated shoppers has been voted #2 most-visited shopping mall in the United States by Travel + Leisure and The Miami Herald readers keep naming Aventura Mall “South Florida’s Best Local Shopping Destination” year after year. And rightly so. This mall has something for absolutely everyone. We hear that all the time, but here it really is true.

300 shops to explore

While Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom and Macy’s are the anchors of Aventura Mall, there are literally hundreds of other shops and boutiques to discover – many of them recognized internationally. Shop names like Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors and Burberry. Peruse the Apple store, Anthropologie, Kenneth Cole and Banana Republic. From Sephora and True Religion to 7 for all Mankind and Forever XXI, there’s a shop at Aventura Mall for every taste.

Speaking of taste, there’s some good food at Aventura Mall at ten different fine dining and casual options. That, of course, is besides its 18 fast food restaurants. Feast on classic American fare at The Grill on the Alley. If Italian is more your speed, you have two options with Rosalia and Bella Luna. Save room for something sweet from The Cheesecake Factory!

Turnberry for the Arts is a cultural initiative supported by the Aventura Mall. Discover works by international and local artists on display throughout the mall. They’ve been put there in an effort to enhance visitors’ experience, expanding the “traditional” boundaries of where one might expect to find art.

If you plan to shop Aventura Mall, you can do so Monday through Saturday from 10am-9:30pm and from Sunday from 12pm-8pm.
