Florida Vacation Guide to B.B. King’s Restaurant & Blues Club in West Palm Beach

If you’re not familiar with the City Place shopping district in West Palm Beach, you could very well have a bit of trouble finding B.B. King’s Blues Club. But if you love the energy found in a venue serving up great music and plates piled high with southern comforts then keep on looking until you find it (hint: look for the big set of stairs leading to the second level of City Place where all the entertainment is)!

The location

B.B. King’s Restaurant & Blues Club is located on the second level of City Place and if you’re in West Palm Beach, you have to visit this vibrant shopping district. There’s entertainment of all kinds, food and shopping. Yes, you will almost surely find a shop here that gets you excited; White House Black Market, Macy’s, Banana Republic, Tommy Bahama, Barnes and Noble, Pottery Barn – there’s even a Publix here so you can get your groceries before heading back to wherever it is you’re staying. If you’d prefer to dine out here, though, check out B.B. King’s Blues Club!

The food

If you’d like to enjoy dinner at B.B. King’s Blues Club, we recommend making a reservation. The hostesses here always seem to have a lineup. Perhaps an indicator of the quality of the food and entertainment here!

Choose from starters like fried dill pickles, Memphis wings or the nachos. Topped with jalapeno cheese sauce, pico de gallo and BBQ sauce, these aren’t your ordinary nachos.

For your main course, go with one of B.B. King’s signature dishes like the Lip Smacking Ribs, the Chopped BBQ Pork Platter, the Hickory Burger or the Chicken Fried Chicken (served with creamy mac and cheese). It’s delicious but try and save room for dessert! You must try the banana bread pudding.

The entertainment

Enjoy live entertainment every night of the week at one of the only venues in the area offering live music. From smooth, soulful jazz to fast, funky blues it all sounds great in this cool atmosphere, washed down with a cold beer. Check out the entertainment calendar before you plan your night out and plan your date around the band you most want to see.
