Florida Vacation Guide: Best of Florida’s golf destinations

Are you itching to get you and your clubs to Florida? Before you book your Florida vacation, peruse our list of three of the best golf destinations in the state to see if any of our picks have made your list!

Panama City Beach

According to Golf Digest magazine, Panama City Beach is one of the top three golf towns in America. Home to five 18-hole championship courses, Panama City Beach boasts reasonable fees, pristine greens and lots and lots of choices.

One of these championship courses is the Hombre Golf Club. Nestled among lakes, marshes, wetlands, pines, palms and azaleas, not only is this 27-hole course quite challenging but it’s scenic as well.

West Palm Beach

Great golf set away from the hustle and bustle of many of the major US golf destinations makes West Palm Beach a golfer’s paradise. And if you’re a golf enthusiast, you’ll recognize many of the names of golf courses in West Palm Beach.

PGA National Resort & Spa is one of those famous courses, home of the Honda Classic. This resort is home to five (yes, five) golf courses and it’s pretty family-friendly to boot.

Miami has some of the most difficult golf courses to play in the entire world. Golfweek has placed some of them on its list of top 10 courses.

One of the best courses in Miami is the Doral Golf Resort and Spa. There are five championship golf courses here including The Blue Monster which has only ever been “tamed” by Tiger Woods himself. This is not only one of the best golf courses in Florida, but it’s among the best in the world.
