Kids find magic at the Oceaneer Club aboard the Disney Fantasy
Disney Vacation Guide: The Oceaneer Club on the Disney Fantasy
The cruise industry hasn’t been the same since the Disney Cruise Line joined the party with its elaborately themed play areas. These imagination wonderlands engage children in their favorite stories and make a family vacation on a cruise ship pure magic.
The newest ship in the fleet, the Disney Fantasy, has almost one whole deck designed just to entertain children. Yes, there must be Pixie Dust in the air. Tinker Bell does happen to be on board!
Let them play at Disney’s Oceaneer Club
Children aged 3-10 are invited to play to their hearts’ content at a kid-friendly haven on Deck 5 of the Disney Fantasy. Friendly monsters, Disney fairies, undersea adventures and familiar toys await at the Oceaneer Club!
Fiber optics create constellations of Disney characters across the ceiling of the central rotunda, the main gathering place at the Oceaneer Club. This gives the space a magical, sparkling glow. After the kids are good and inspired, they can star in their own theatrical performances on the stage – the focal point of the rotunda.
The rotunda features a 103-inch plasma screen, perfect for movie watching or interacting with Crush from “Finding Nemo.”
Wait until the kids see the Magic PlayFloor! A first in the cruise industry, the super cool interactive floor allows kids’ movements to control the action in a fun group activity.
If all that wasn’t enough, some special Disney characters tend to pop by the Oceaneer Club for visits, including Tinker Bell and Peter Pan!
Tell us…
What would your little one think if he or she were to meet Tinker Bell and Peter Pan on a real-live ship!
