Moms get the special treatment they deserve on Mother’s Day this year at Harry P. Leu Gardens with free admission all day on May 13 from 9am to 5pm.
Enjoy the gardens
Take your mom on a special stroll through the only botanic garden in central Florida where you’ll enjoy a visually stunning kaleidoscope of colors while the scent of the rose garden intoxicates you. Take a walk to the magical butterfly garden and marvel at the many different species of beautiful winged creatures fluttering by.
Tour the Leu House Museum
Tour the Leu House Museum, a restored 1880′s home listed on the National Register of Historic Places, with your mom and learn about the four families that lived on this amazing property.
Watch a movie
If you can’t make it to Leu Gardens on Mother’s Day itself, you may wish to take your mom here on May 4 to enjoy a movie in the out of doors. The movie playing that weekend is “Step Mom” featuring Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts. Fitting for the occasion!
Garden Admission is $7 plus tax for adults and $2 plus tax for children K-12.
