Celebrity Gossip: Where to spot a celebrity in South Florida
Florida Vacation Guide: Best places to spot celebrities in South Florida
Celebrities love South Florida so of course, so does the paparazzi and members of the general public who go gaga over star gazing.
As you might expect, South Beach hotels are quite popular spots for celebrity sightings, but Hollywood’s biggest names can also be seen at trendy restaurants, sporting events or just chilling at the beach. Oh, and of course they can also be found partying at some of Miami’s hottest nightclubs.
Here are some places you might want to hang out at if you hope to spot a celebrity in South Florida:
Prime 112
Prime One Twelve has earned the reputation of having the best beef in Miami, but you might spot a beefy movie star enjoying a meal there as well. That’s because a good percentage of the rich and famous who visit Miami choose to eat here.
The AmericanAirlines Arena
Get tickets for a Miami Heat game at the American Airlines Arena. The closer you get to courtside at a Miami Heat Game, the better chance you have of seeing a celebrity because that’s where they often sit!
Club LIV at The Fontainebleau
Reuters “World’s Top 10 Nightclubs” list now includes LIV and celebrities love this high-energy (and very exclusive) nightclub. It’s home to many members of Miami’s local party crowd as well as celebrities and other VIPs.
The Beach
You could theoretically find a celebrity at almost any of Florida’s beaches (Selena Gomez has been spotted at St. Pete’s on more than one occasion)because, well, Florida has two coasts and many beaches! But one beach in particular seems to attract more stars than the rest – Lummus Park Beach. Lummus Park Beach is close to the Ritz-Carlton, Tides and Delano which are all hotels where celebs enjoy staying. Here, the sand is golden and the water’s nice and clean. It is not uncommon to see topless sunbathers here.
