2012 Antiques Show & Sale
Antiquing is an art – ask anyone! View the paintings, jewelry, furniture and many more types of antiques that will be on display at the Orlando Museum of Art by art dealers from across the Eastern United States. 2012 Mount Dora Art Festival
According to the Southeast Tourism Society, the Mount Dora Art Festival is one of the top 20 events in the Southeast. Join the 300,000 or so people that fill the streets for this two-day art festival featuring the works of more than 285 artists showcasing sculpture, jewelry, glass, watercolor, photography, clay, oils, graphics and more. Celebrate Mardi Gras
From the middle of February through early April, the streets of the Universal Studios theme park are lined with costumed characters, colorful parades and floats, forming the largest Mardi Gras celebration outside of New Orleans. Take in the live concert series and see popular musicians on your Florida vacation. Taste some yummy New Orleans-style eats and of course there will be beads!
If Disney World is more your style, head to the New Orleans themed resorts at Disney World to celebrate Mardi Gras.
