14th Annual Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival is underway
Florida Vacation Guide to the 2012 Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (MGLFF)
Over 65 films from 15 countries including feature-length movies, short films and documentaries that support gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender communities. That’s what you can expect to find at the 14th annual Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival which is underway now through May 6, 2012.
This well-respected film festival has been building up an excellent reputation around the world for bringing premiere LGBT films to Miami.
As the MGLFF is one of the first LGBT film festivals of 2012, you can expect to see several films showcased there that have not been screened anywhere before.
On opening night (April 27), country music star Chely Wright was presented with the Lavender Heart Award. A documentary about her public coming out, “Wish Me Away” was screened yesterday.
