From kayaking to hiking, there’s something fun in Florida’s outdoors this week! If you’re looking for some fresh air and sunshine, check out the following:

1. Saltmarsh Kayak Tour

Glide on the waters in a kayak at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach. Bring your own kayak or choose from a double or single kayaks. Availability is limited and on a first-come basis. Some kayak skills such as maneuvering, entering and exiting the kayak are required – check out the website for further requirements.

2. Tai Chi By The Sea

Start the weekend off by loosening your joints and getting into a relaxed state of mind and join Bill Stone for some Tai Chi right at the beach front. The instructional morning class will be certain to start your weekend off peacefully.

3. Preserving the Real Florida Hike

This is a unique opportunity to tour parts of  Fort Pierce Inlet State Park that aren’t normally open to the public. Learn about exotic plants and invasive species on this ranger-guided walk and how the park employs various methods to maintain the delicate balance of native plants and animals.
