Easter is around the corner, and if you’re hoping for an Easter bunny to do some of your work, we’ll be featuring a number of options during the next few weeks, from free events to a weekends in a hotel. If you’re close to Destin, check out the following:
Eggstravaganza happens every year at the Hilton Sandestin with events for the whole family, and options for non-guests as well.
Friday, April 6
You can pre-order a basket of goodies ($15) that will be delivered by the Easter Bunny as long as it’s done before 7:30 a.m. There’s also a coloring contest that you can drop of to Kids Krew by 10 p.m. for judging. And don’t forget to attempt a guess at the Mystery Jar of Sweet Treats!
Saturday, April 7
Wait in anticipation for an Easter Bunny basket delivery anywhere from 7:30 in the morning to noon. For 15 minutes, from 1:45 p.m.-2:00 p.m., make sure your kids dive into the Easter Egg Scramble.
Sunday, April 8
An Easter Bunny visit is part of Easter Sunday and all children will get treats directly from the beloved rabbit. Of course, food is a close second! From omelette and waffle stations to herb crusted Mahi-Mahi and pepper crusted pork medallions, there’s also a wine menu for the occasion. And kids have their favorites from mac’n cheese to a dessert chocolate fountain.
The buffet for the Easter Brunch is open from 11 am to 3 pm to public as well as guests of the hotel – just make sure you call well in advance to make your reservations. The cost is $31.95/adults, $12.95/children, free/children under 5.
There’s a special Easter basket at the Spa for Mom, filled with gift certificates and products to pamper herself during the weekend.
