Dust off your platform shoes and bell bottoms! The Fantasy of Funk festival will hit the Seminole Casino Immokalee on July 21 with performances by Nouveaux Honkies, the Glen David Andrews Band, Bonerama and George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic.

Enjoy a free party at the Seminole Casino Immokalee’s Zig Zag Lounge on July 20 at 7pm to kick of the Funk fest. Wear your funkiest outfit for a chance to win a prize! The Nouveaux Honkies will be on hand to provide the entertainment. This blues and R&B group has a sound that’s been compared to the Rolling Stones with a touch of Jimmy Hendrix, Dire Straits and Curtis Mayfield.
From 9 to 10pm, ladies who are members of Seminole Casino Players Club (membership is free) receive complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres with chances to win prizes and giveaways.
The “Fantasy of Funk”
The festival gets underway at 1pm on Saturday, July 21 outside of the casino. Enjoy music by Nouveaux honkies, Bonerama, Glen David Andrews and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic.
More than ten gourmet food trucks will allow you to grab a bite to eat throughout the day.
