If your travels through Florida take you to the Northern area of the state this weekend, check out some of these great events taking place. Don’t worry if your vacation is depleting your bank account because all of these Northern Florida events happen to be free!

1. Killearn Crawfish Festival

The parking lot gets blocked off on Saturday for the annual Killearn Crawfish Festival – an event that keeps getting bigger and better each year that it’s held. Enjoy live music with Rocket Gumbo at 4pm, followed by The Swinging Harpoon Blues Band. In between feasting on crawfish, play in a corn hole tournament, have a drink or two and it’s a N’awlins style party so there’ll be beads galore!

2. Alive After Five

Every Friday at 5pm enjoy great music, great beer and good times outside the heart of downtown Jacksonville, at The Markets at Town Center.  This Friday enjoy the sounds of the Dave Matthews Tribute Band.

3. Jacksonville Farmers Market

There’s nothing like the taste of market-fresh veggies. Shop directly from farmers for fresh, local, organic produce. Purchase ethnic items and ethnic items. Enjoy live entertainment. Buy a meal at Andy’s Farmer’s Market.
