1) Nonnative Pet Amnesty Day

Have you heard of Non-native pet Amnesty Day? It’s where owners can give up their exotic pets with no fees, penalties or questions asked. Pets can be reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, mammals and invertebrates. If you want to adopt a pet, you must submit an application for review by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission prior to the event. Check it out Saturday at Zoo Miami.

2) Coosh’s Bayou Rouge 11th Annual Crawfish Brawl

A picnic blanket, some lawn chairs and an afternoon of family fun with amazing food. Chow down on BBQ’d crawfish, jambalaya, red beans, burgers and hot dogs. There’ll be a special play area for the kids and music and dancing for everyone!

3) North Beaches Art Walk

Nibble on delightful food samples from local restaurants and sip a glass of wine while admiring countless works of art. Chat with artists and local business owners. Enjoy live local music. The Art Work takes place rain or shine every third Thursday.
