If you’re traveling in Florida between March 2 and March 9 let fun be your guide!

1) Florida Azalea Festival

Visit one of the oldest festivals in Florida – one that celebrates the beautiful azalea bloom. The Azalea Festival started in 1930 and it has managed to survive financial disaster, floods and even World War II. Shop the vendor area, take in the motorcycle rally and the car show, visit the pet show amphitheater, play some bicycle polo, enjoy food, entertainment and lots more.

2) Greater Good Music, Art and Children Festival/Fundraiser

Spend a day in Bayview Park enjoying lots of fun family activities. Eat some amazing food, visit art vendors selling their work, and take in the fabulous musical entertainment that will be playing including reggae, folk, bluegrass, contemporary, rock and R&B. Fun activities for kids will be happening all day- they can even take yoga classes!

3) Conch Shell Blowing Contest

Dust off your favorite conch shell (What? You don’t have your own conch? You can buy one on site!) and join in the conch blowing fun! Children seniors and conch blowers of all ages in between will be polishing up their shells and giving it all they’ve got on Saturday at the “Conch Honk.”
