When you’re traveling through Florida, not everything you do has to cost you a lot of money. Here are three free events happening in Florida this weekend for you to point yourself to for some weekend fun.

1. Jacksonville Farmers Market

Head to the Jacksonville Farmers Market and get some fresh produce to put on our table. There’s more to be found at the market than just produce but there’s nothing like the taste of market-fresh veggies so you’ll want to load up. Shop directly from farmers for their freshest local and organic offerings. Purchase ethnic items and ethnic items. Enjoy live entertainment and buy meal at Andy’s Farmer’s Market.

2. Alive After Five

Enjoy some free live music after work on a Friday? Yes please! Every Friday at 5pm you can enjoy great beer, great music and good times outside the heart of downtown Jacksonville, at The Markets at Town Center. This evening at Alive After Five, enjoy the sounds of the Dave Matthews Tribute Band.

3. Sea Turtle Show

Sea Turtle art created by National, Regional and First Street Gallery artists is on display and available for purchase. Enjoy Sea Turtle photography, metal Sea Turtle sculpture, Sea Turtle jewelry, glass and clay…and a portion of the proceeds goes to the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol. There will also be Sea Turtle t-shirts sold with all of the money from those sales benefiting the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol as well.
