1. The Education

As part of the European Film Festival, the German American Social Club of Greater Miami is hosting a free screening of Dirk Lutter’s film, “The Education.” What a great way to spend a couple of hours this weekend!

2. Founder’s Day at Whitehall

On June 5, 1959, the Flagler Museum opened its doors. Celebrate the anniversary of the occasion and enjoy free access to this National Historic Landmark in honor of the founder of this very special piece of real estate; Jean Flagler Matthews. Matthews established the Flagler Museum after saving the grand estate from demolition. Take a walk through the halls of this special property and view the extensive collection of art, historic objects and furniture on display.

3. Fiesta of Five Flags

Pensacola was founded way, way back in 1559. Since then, five governing flags have flown over the city. During Fiesta of Five Flags, the festivities gets started with a reenactment of the city surrendering to Spanish explorer Don Tristan de Luna.

  • Highlight: A fun, festive history lesson
  • When: June 2-10
