Florida News: Trick or Treating at Orlando Malls

Many mummies and daddies like to take their little ghosts and goblins trick-or-tricking indoors, whether for safety reasons, convenience or to avoid unpleasant weather. For indoor trick or treating in Orlando and surrounding areas this evening, look no further than these fabulous events for children.

One quick note: Many of the malls on this list ask that children over 12 years of age not wear any sort of mask or bring any type of false weapon or dangerous looking prop. There will also generally be a pumpkin or some sort of icon in front of a store that will indicate whether or not the merchant will be handing out candy.

This is not an exhaustive list, but these are a couple of your best options for indoor trick or treating in Orlando area malls.

1. Fashion Square Mall

Trick or treating takes place from 4pm until the treats are all gone! Grab a bag near the fountain by Center Court and make your way to participating stores including Auntie Anne’s, Glazed Over Pottery, Piercing Pagoda, Spencer’s and many many more!

  • Where: East Colonial Drive and Maguire, Orlando, Florida

2. Florida Mall

Treats will be handed out by participating stores from 6-8pm. Look for the pumpkin in the window! There will be a Kids Fun Zone featuring a DJ, face painting, balloon artist, stilt walkers and lots more fun, next to the JC Penny fountain.

  • Where: 8001 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, Florida

3. Oviedo Mall

Treats will be handed out by participating merchants from 5pm until the candy runs out. A costume contest happens near Dillards at 6:30pm for children under the age of 12.

  • Where: 1700 Oviedo Mall Blvd., Oviedo, Florida

4. Seminole Towne Center

It’s Malloween at Seminole Towne Center where all little goblins and ghouls are invited to trick-or-treat from 6-8pm. Pick up a free bag and a free KRE-O Bumblebee Transformer and make your way to the participating merchants for lots of candy and fun.

  • Where: 200 Towne Center Circle, Sanford, Florida
