Florida News: Ghost Tours of Tampa Bay expands tour offerings for Halloween

Explore the “damndest town this side of hell” by candlelight with a guide well-educated in all things terrifying about this part of Florida. If you like getting the heebie jeebies on purpose, and you find yourself in the Tampa Bay area this Halloween, check out a brand new experience called Tampa by Twilight: Ghosts and Graveyard Tour. Listen to ghost stories as you walk by the places the tales originated from. You may even see a restless spirit lurking in the shadows. When getting scared silly is something you like to do, don’t miss this!

Ghosts and Graveyard Tour

The guide will take you through Oaklawn Cemetery, the oldest and most haunted graveyard in Tampa, telling stories about untimely deaths, never-ending love and betrayal of trust. From the cemetery, you’ll walk downtown to see if you can spot one of the ghosts that haunts the area. There’s the haunted old hotel, courthouse, theater and more to explore. The tour lasts 90 minutes and it starts at 5:30pm sharp, departing from Oaklawn Cemetery: 606 E. Harrison St., Tampa, Florida 33602.
