Florida News: Be part of a worldwide environment effort on September 15, 2012

International Coastal Cleanup Day is this Saturday and more than half a million people in 150 countries participate to clean up discarded items that can injure and kill marine life, damage plants and contaminate ecosystems. You can join in as there are opportunities to help on either Florida’s Gulf Coast or Atlantic Coast:

What to bring

Along with a caring attitude, depending on where you’re participating, bring protective clothing, water, snacks, bug repellent, sunscreen and work or close-toed shoes.
