1. Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and Arts Festival

Visit the Barnacle Historic State Park for the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and Arts Festival. The event kicks off on Friday at 6pm with the Tea Party, complete with cocktails and costumes. It happens at the Micco Pavilion and reservations are required. Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm is when the Arts Festival happens. Put on your fancy hat and see handmade arts and crafts around the park.

2. Jacksonville Landing Tree Lighting

Tens of thousands of L.E.D lights will light up a 56-foot tall Christmas tree on November 23, kicking off the holiday season in Northeast Florida. In addition to those 78,000 or so lights, there will be over 240 ornaments also adorning the tree, making quite a spectacle on the St. Johns River. Stick around after the lighting ceremony for live music an a fireworks display.

3. Pigs in Paradise National Championship BBQ Festival

Barbecue lovers and local celebrity judges will be tasting the BBQ delights of six nationally renowned grill cooks, judging the best of the best. Chicken, pulled pork, beef brisket and ribs will be cooked up in an effort to win the title of Champion in this invitational cook-off. Taste the delicious food, watch live performances by Charlie Daniels and Joe Nichols, check out the pig races, see the classic car show and the motorcycle rally. Explore the arts and crafts and lots more.
