Disney Vacation Guide to the best places to get coffee in Disney World

Early mornings, overtired/overwhelmed/overstimulated children, crowds, lineups…a busy day at Disney World requires at least one good cup of coffee at some point during the day.

If you like something a little special to perk you up in the morning, let us guide you to some of our favorite cafes in Disney World.

Where to get a good cup of coffee in Disney World

Kona Cafe (Disney’s Polynesian Resort)

If you’re a fan of good coffee, head to Kona Cafe in the Polynesian Resort. Grab a cup of coffee to go or sit down and enjoy it with a serving of Tonga Toast (stuffed French toast). You’ll be glad you took the time to do so!

Kusafiri Coffee Shop (Animal Kingdom)

When you’re looking for a great cup of coffee in the Animal Kingdom, take your decaffeinated self to the Kusafiri Coffee Shop for a great way to perk yourself up. Besides great coffee, you can also grab a danish, a brownie or a cupcake for a bit of a sugar rush!

The Writer’s Stop (Hollywood Studios)

There is some seriously good coffee at this lovely cafe in Hollywood Studios. If you just want a cup of coffee to take with you that’s great! But you might want to stick around for a Mickey sugar cookie, a pastry or even a nice mug to bring home with you.

Starbucks is coming to Disney World!

Disney and Starbucks are still finalizing dates but locations will be opening in the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot. We’ll keep you posted on that!

Bring your own!

If you’re a hardened coffee addict and you’ll have a miserable time if the joe isn’t *just* right then simply bring your own coffee with you and brew it in the hotel room before you hit the parks!

Tell us…

How do you like your coffee?

Im looking forward to trying Kona cafe. I hear starbucks is coming to disneyworld – cant decide if this is good or bad?

Interesting comment, Adam! At the end of the day, it all comes down to convenience and giving people options. If we know we can fuel up with caffeine we’re familiar with anywhere in Disney World then that is a comfort!
