Disney Vacation Guide: Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar opens in Epcot’s Italy Pavilion

Italian lovers rejoice! Tomorrow, May 1, in a reproduction of the Medici Palace in Epcot’s Italy Pavilion, Patina Restaurant Group will officially open Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar. This brand new wine cellar was “discovered” as Tutto Italia was being built.

Wines galore

200 Italian wines and an impressive variety of Italian small plates are available at this “unearthed” treasure in Epcot.

Dishes at Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar are authentically Italian with offerings on the menu from each region. And they can be paired perfectly with a glass of wine. Will you have a glass of red with a plate of meats and cheeses or a crisp, refreshing white with some crunchy bruschetta? You’re on vacation so indulge!

Not a wine lover? No problem. The chef’s creations also pair well with agua frescas and other non-alcoholic beverages.

Restaurateur and CEO of Patina Restaurant Group, Nick Valenti says, “Tutto Gusto offers a refreshing place to relax and sample authentic tastes of Italy during a day at Epcot.” He adds, “It is a welcome addition to the popular dining options at the Italy Pavilion.”

Authentically Italian

Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar is being unveiled tomorrow as part of the grand re-opening of Tutto Italia. Architecturally, both properties reflect the antiquity and symmetry that comes to mind when you think of the Italian Renaissance period. The interior of both establishments feature marble, limestone floors, chandeliers and even wall hangings from Italy. But you might miss those details all together should you choose to enjoy dining al fresco on the enclosed patio.

What type of food will you enjoy at Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar?

Simple, flavorful “piccoli piatti” such as pizze fritte, bruschetta di Capri and polenta funghi e taleggio. Fresh mozzarella, cured, sliced meats and of course, there will be pasta!
