Disney Vacation Guide: See Disneynature Chimpanzee this week

If you find yourself being charmed by the primates every time you take a visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park (or anywhere else you find playful primates) then chances are good that you would absolutely adore the newest film by Disneynature – “Chimpanzee.”

About the film

Go deep into the forests of Africa in a new “True Life Adventure” (“Africa Cats”, “Earth” and “Oceans” are other examples of these Disneynature films) where you’ll meet Oscar, a young chimpanzee, and his family. Oscar and his friends are a playful bunch without a care in the world…until a rival band of chimps confronts his family. Then the young chimpanzee is forced to find for himself until his life is changed forever when a surprising ally intervenes.

Narrated by the talented Tim Allen (who provides the voice of Buzz Lightyear in Disney Pixar’s “Toy Story” series of films), “Chimpanzee” is in theaters now. Yes, it hit the big screen yesterday, just in time for Earth Day!

About See Chimpanzee Save Chimpanzees

When you see “Chimpanzee” opening week, Disneynature will make a donation to the Jane Goodall Institute. This organization exists to protect chimpanzees today and into the future by protecting habitat, educating the next generation about chimps and caring for orphaned chimpanzees.

What better way to celebrate Earth Day than by taking in this wonderful film with your family?
