Disney Vacation Guide to the Satellite Falls & Sun Deck on the Fantasy

The upper decks on the Disney Fantasy have all the adult escapes needed on a sunny afternoon – the multi-level, adult-only pool at Quiet Cove, the cozy cafe at the Cove Bar and the gentle mist at the Satellite Sun Deck. Only accessible to those 18 and older, this is adult-exclusive “play” area.

Satellite Sun Deck

The Satellite Sun Deck is a brand-new addition to the Disney Cruise Line, offering a cool mist from a water fountain, a wading pool for cooling off and a shaded canopy for those who want to retreat from the sun. The large white dome is the central feature on the sun deck, and casts its own shade for guests sitting close to the gentle spray of water. The Satellite Sun Deck  is one of two water features that debut on the Fantasy, but its location on Deck 13 designates it exclusively for adult water fun!

A Fantasy Debut

Along with AquaLab, Satellite Falls is a new feature on the Fantasy. The splash pool is a cool retreat on a hot day. A steady stream of water from a rain curtain casts a soft cool mist to those sitting on the circular edge of the pool. There’s also a canopy that casts shade on a section of the upper deck where guests can relax in loungers. For sun seekers, there are also sunny spots.

Quiet Cove Pool Area

From a sunbathing pool six-inches deep to a plunge pool that is four-feet deep, all of the circular pools in the Quiet Cove are connected so you can slowly migrate from dipping your feet to full immersion.

How do you like to cool off – lying in the shade, wading in a pool or diving into the deep end?
