Disney Vacation Guide: Planning your first visit to Disney
A visit to Disney can be a daunting task. Where to begin? What to see? How to avoid line-ups? We’ve created an Infographic to give you a quick overview and help you get started. In the future, we’ll be publishing some further planning information, theme park tips and other useful tidbits so you can schedule your time to see what you want to see and experience the best that Disney has to offer.
We’ve given you an overview of some of the best resorts, dining experiences and age-appropriate attractions that can help you plan out an itinerary. As well, we’ve included a few helpful tips below.
Simplify transportation. Choose a Disney Resort where boat transportation, bus and monorail transportation are free. That way you don’t have to worry about parking or dragging the kids from the theme park back to your car or hotel after a hot day in the sun. There are many Deluxe Resorts and Moderate Resorts around Disney to choose from.
Make reservations. If you want to eat at a sit down restaurant, make reservations made well ahead of time. As an alternative, get familiar with the good fast service restaurants and counter service restaurants around Disney World. There are tons of them!
Stick to one park. If you do a lot of “park hopping” you’ll be spending a great deal of time on the transport system, especially mid-day.
