Obama, Eli and Uma Spotted at Disney World
Disney Vacation Guide: January and February 2012 Celebrity Sightings
The most recent ado to take place at the Walt Disney World Resort was, without a doubt, today’s visit from Eli Manning. In case you haven’t heard of this fellow, he happens to be the New York Giants’ Quarterback and MVP of Super Bowl XLVI.
In a much-loved MVP tradition, shortly after his team scored quite a dramatic 21-17 Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots yesterday, Manning proclaimed, “I’m going to Disney World!”
This morning, he and Mickey (dressed in his football garb) led a parade down Main Street, U.S.A. for cheering fans at the Walt Disney World Resort. Red, white and blue could be seen all over the Magic Kingdom in balloons, cheerleader uniforms, confetti, and congratulatory banners waved by fans.
Manning may have been the first celebrity VIP to make the Disney World rounds this month but he wasn’t the first to visit this year.
President Barack Obama
On January 19, Jan. 19, 2012, President Barack Obama spoke to a crowd in front of the iconic Cinderella Caste to unveil his plans to increase international visitation to the United States while making the nation the world’s premier travel destination.
We have an Eli and an Obama. Now all that’s missing is an Uma…
Uma Thurman
On January 14, Uma Thurman, star of Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill, visited Disney World. She’s seen here posing with Donald in the Magic Kingdom.
