New PhotoPass+ comes to Disney World in Florida today
Disney Vacation Guide to new PhotoPass+
Today, April 4, 2012, Disney World guests can capture more memories than ever with the brand new Disney PhotoPass+ system. For one price you can now get your Disney PhotoPass photographer photos PLUS select dining and attraction print packages.
What is Disney’s PhotoPass?
When Disney’s PhotoPass first came to Disney World it revolutionized the way we could share, purchase and view our Disney photos. Rather than waiting in line at a Photo Center for our precious photographs, PhotoPass allows us to simply view, share and order our photos online at DisneyPhotoPass.com
The way it works is, a photographer at Disney World takes your photo and instead of giving you a claim ticket, you get a Disney PhotoPass linking your vacation photos together in a central online account. You can use one PhotoPass for your whole vacation or you can get a new one with each new photo you have taken.
What is PhotoPass+?
PhotoPass+ offers guests additional digital download and print options for all locations across Disney World’s theme parks. In one package price, you will receive all pictures taken by PhotoPass photographers plus some shots snapped at character dining experiences and even on rides.
The rides included in this new package include:
- Space Mountain
- Splash Mountain
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
- Rock ‘n Roller Coaster
- Expedition Everest
Character dining locations included in the new PhotoPass+ include:
- Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
- Ohana (breakfast only)
- 1900 Park Fare
- Chef Mickey’s
- Cinderella’s Royal Table
- Tusker House Restaurant (breakfast only)
- Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
- Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue
What does it cost?
PhotoPass+ is priced roughly $100 more than the current PhotoPass all-encompassing Photo CD (which is also included in this package), at its cost of $199.95.
This price gives you access to the digital files of all PhotoPass photos, dining photos and select attraction photos taken within a two week (14 day) visit.
As a bonus, PhotoPass+ provides you with a gallery CD with more than 400 stock photos, special card and lanyard and a code to order PhotoCD online.
Do you think PhotoPass+ is a bargain considering what’s included?
