New Phineas and Ferb experience coming to Epcot
Disney Vacation Guide: New Epcot experience
Word on the street is that Epcot is getting a brand new interactive experience later on this summer. It doesn’t sound like it will be quite as controversial as the last new interactive exhibit to open at Epcot (Habit Heroes) which closed three weeks after its soft opening due to overwhelming negative guest feedback.
Introducing Phineas & Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure
This new experience will be based on the secret-agent alter-ego of Perry the Platypus. He’s the faithful pet of Phineas & Ferb, the title characters from the popular animated series on the Disney Channel. To Phineas and Ferb, Perry’s just a pet. But in each episode, the teal-colored character turns into Agent P to help stop his nemesis, Dr. Doofenshmirtz from carrying out his evil plans.
Guests who visit this new Epcot attraction will transform into secret agents to help stop the misguided plans of Dr. Doofenshmirtz, using a “high-tech secret agent device” to gain the clues needed to solve the case.
Solving these clues will take special agents to different sites around the World showcase countries of Epcot. The France Pavilion, Mexico Pavilion, Norway Pavilion, Germany Pavilion, Japan Pavilion, United Kingdom Pavilion and China Pavilion will all be included in the search. With a little luck, special agents will be able to find clues at all these different countries to thwart the plans of Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
So long, Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure
To make room for Agent P, Disney will be closing the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure this summer.
Are your kids fans of Phineas and Ferb or will they miss the Kim Possible experience?
