Disney Vacation Guide: Where Dreams Come True
Dreams start the moment you enter Magic Kingdom with Cinderella Castle as its icon. Standing 189 feet above the 142-acre park, its 18 towers glimmer in the sunlight and the intricate mosaics start to weave the enchantment. Wander through the seven themed lands — Main Street, U.S.A.; Adventureland; Frontierland; Liberty Square; Fantasyland; Mickey’s Toontown Fair; and Tomorrowland with favourite Disney characters.
Attractions and Shows
Plunge down Splash Mountain, soar with Dumbo above Fantasyland or float past cultures in It’s a Small World. From Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, to Stitch’s Great Escape! and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, there’s delight for all ages. Catch your favourite characters in Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and meet friendly ghouls at the Haunted Mansion. Spin in a giant pastel tea cup at the Mad Tea Party or travel deep into the jungle on a steamer tour . Make sure you catch “Wishes” a firework show that lights up the castle with a brilliant display of color.
Among the colorful parades such as Mickey’s daily “Celebrate a Dream Come True” to musical shows like “Dream Along with Mickey”, there are many opportunities to meet and greet cherished characters throughout the park (look for the Character Location Guide at the tip board to find out who you’ll meet where and when). Guests can also dine with Disney characters such as Cinderella’s Royal Table in Fantasyland or The Crystal Palace in Main Street.
