Disney Vacation Guide: Epcot Flower & Garden Festival

From March 7 through May 20, Epcot gets a little bit more colorful as more than a hundred topiaries pop up as part of the International Flower & Garden Festival. Green thumb or not, you will fall in love with the displays of horticultural art throughout the Epcot theme park during the festival.

Get advice from stars of HGTV and the stars behind the scenes (Disney’s gardening experts who create all the amazing topiaries) and learn how to enhance the look of your own gardens. Along with the dazzling topiaries (more than 75 of them are characters) there’ll be live music to enjoy and all kinds of programs to participate in.

You’ll be inspired by the beauty of nature and the power of some pruning shears when you see the topiaries. This is the first time Pixar characters have been brought to life in topiary form. Woody, Lotso, Buzz and Mater and Lightning McQueen are all on display. They are so detailed they require pruning at least once a week!

Take in some Entertainment

Be sure to take in the Flower Power Concert Series. A different artist performs every weekend of the festival at the America Gardens Theatre. Sing along to live music you’ll remember from the 60s and 70s.

Epcot theme park admission is required to attend the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Most events are included in that admission price.
