Tree of Life Theatre
In a theater befitting a bug, tucked away under the elaborate root system of the Animal Kingdom’s iconic Tree of Life, special 3D “Bug-Eye” glasses give you a brand new perspective on “a bug’s life.” Hosted by Hopper and Flik, this multimedia show with its cast of hairy bugs, scary bugs, cute creepy crawlers and pretty butterflies has many surprising special effects that will be mildly thrilling to most, but quite startling and even scary for little ones.
Could be scary for Young Children
If you have young children or children afraid of bugs, you might consider skipping ‘It’s Tough to Be a Bug’. This realistic attraction can be downright terrifying for children, and especially for children with a fear of bugs. Besides insects, there are many loud noises and sudden surprises in the show. It’s also very dark. The show lasts for 8 minutes which could seem like an eternity if you’re trying to calm children who are scared.
