Florida Flavors: Dining options at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Disney Vacation Guide to Landscape of Flavors at the new Art of Animation Resort
The new Art of Animation Resort in Disney World will throw guests right into the action of their favorite of four beloved Disney films: “Cars”, “The Lion King”, “Finding Nemo” or “The Little Mermaid”.
But this resort isn’t just about colorful art and whimsical touches! There’s also a food court with tons of “better-for-you” options.
Landscape of Flavors Food Court at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Five mini shops in this restaurant (located adjacent to the lobby) serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. You’re given the option to customize your options from pasta and burgers to gelatos and parfaits. It’s all prepared fresh to order.
Beverages are big at Landscape of Flavors too. Choose from options like pomegranate limeade, organic teas and fresh fruit smoothies. Did we mention you can purchase gluten free beer or half a bottle of wine to go with your supper?
Soup-Salad-Sandwich Shop
Try the caprese sandwich with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes on focaccia with a caesar salad. Or maybe the Buffalo-style turkey sandwich with blue cheese-Buffalo mayo and arugla with house-made chips would more suit your fancy.
The World Flavors Shop
Add some Indian-African flair to your breakfast! Enjoy some Tandoor potatoes and mini-naan with your slab bacon, Portuguese sausage and scrambled eggs sounds good, or how about a veggie flatbread on naan with spinach, cauliflower and paneer? Lunch or dinner options include tandoori chicken or shrimp, mahi mahi, Mongolian beef with vegetables, roasted acorn squash and much more.
The Pizza Shop
Make-your-own pasta or order a cheese and pepperoni pie. Order up some saucy meatballs on ciabatta bread. If you’ve had a long day at the parks, maybe you’d like to have it delivered to your room instead of eating in?
The Burger Shop
Dig into a breakfast burger with scrambled eggs, chicken breakfast sausage and cheese, all on a multi-grain bun. Dad will probably want to try the burger topped with fried eggs, cheese and bacon. For lunch and dinner, the menu goes beyond beef burgers with surf and surf burger with a crab cake and fried popcorn shrimp, and a pastrami cheeseburger topped with a slice of fried green tomato and some pepper jack cheese.
The “Grab ‘n Go” Market Shop
If you’re strapped for time, grab some yogurt, a bagel, a drink or some gelato.
