Disney Vacation Guide to Epcot’s Morocco Pavilion
Maneuver winding alleyways among warm terra cotta tiles and stucco archways. The swirling mosaics, date palms, olive trees and green rooftops on carved plaster buildings make you believe you could really be in Morocco. After passing the intricately carved reproduction of the Koutoubia Minaret of Marrakesh it doesn’t take long to forget you’re in Florida. More native craftsmen worked on this pavilion than any in the World Showcase and pride of craftsmanship is evident at every turn. Shop at the bustling marketplace for authentic Moroccan goods.
Dine at Restaurant Marrakesh
Step inside a sultan’s palace and enhance your exploration of Morocco with a fantastic meal while percussive music plays and belly dancers entertain. If you love trying new cuisines, order the Taste of Morocco: Royal Feast platter featuring Harira soup, beef brewat roll, lemon chicken, roast lamb meshoui, couscous with seven vegetables and an assortment of Moroccan pastries for dessert.
Watch out for familiar Arabian Disney characters spotted in this vibrant pavilion in Epcot Theme Park upon occasion.
