Disney Vacation Guide to Downtown Disney
When you need a bit of a break from the theme parks, head to Downtown Disney for entertainment, shopping and other adventures – there are over 70 shops and restaurants to explore! Whether you’re a power shopper, are looking for some vibrant nightlife, or simply need a break from the Water Park or the other Disney Theme Parks, Downtown Disney is a great place to spend some time.
Stock up on Disney memorabilia, chow down on southern food at the House of Blues or get mesmerized at a Cirque du Soleil show!
Throughout Downtown Disney there are restaurants featuring live entertainment and amazing views of Buena Vista Lagoon. Eat at fast food restaurants or elegant fine dining establishments. Take the little princess in your life to the Bibidi Bobbidi Boutique for an experience she’ll never forget.
Tip: Transportation to Downtown Disney is available by bus, and is free for Disney World Resort hotel guests. If you choose to drive yourself, parking is complimentary and there’s no admission to Downtown Disney.
Downtown Disney Marketplace
Peruse character merchandise at the largest Disney character store in the world! Or if you’d prefer to do nothing at all, Downtown Disney Marketplace is also a great place to just chill.
Pleasure Island
Shop for stogies at Fuego by Sosa Cigars, enjoy a pint at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Bar, or just explore the “city.” Pleasure Island is a great place to spend an adult afternoon.
Downtown Disney West Side
Dine at fine restaurants, poke around some interesting boutiques, take in the DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive theme park, or watch a show you’ll never forget – Cirque du Soleil La Nouba.
