Disney News: New for the Holidays 2012
Disney Vacation Guide to what’s new for the Holidays 2012
Wondering what’s happening at Disney World for this holiday season? Since planning for the 2012 Holidays begins now, we’re letting you know what’s in store. From holiday lights to a Christmas safari, this year’s highlight among the usual festive preparations is the next phase of the new Fantasyland. During the holidays, the following will be unveiled at Magic Kingdom:
Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid
This will be your chance to slip under the sea with Ariel and some of her ocean friends. You’ll see scenes from the classic animation on this musical adventure as fans journey with their favorite mermaid.
Enchanted Tales with Belle in her cottage
We can hear the “tale as old as time” again and again. When you step into Belle’s cottage and gaze into the magical mirror, Disney magic happens. It becomes a portal to meet Belle and Lumiere as they re-tell the captivating story with the help of special guests.
Be Our Guest Restaurant
In this massive Fantasyland expansion, Disney is creating an entire neighborhood for Beauty and The Beast. One area that is getting the most regal attention is the dining hall in the Be Our Guest Restaurant. When you step into The Beast’s castle, chandeliers in the elegant ballroom will glisten – you can grab some fast food if you’re on the run or enjoy a posh dinner in the evening, when you have time to explore the gallery and mysterious “West Wing”.
Coming in 2014
We’ll have to wait more than a year to step into a mine car that will swoosh us into a diamond mine on The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
Have you ridden on Dumbo the Flying Elephant yet, or dashed through Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station?
