Disney Vacation Guide to Celebrities to appear at Star Wars Weekends 2012

Last week, the folks at Disney World announced the celebrity lineup for the upcoming Star Wars Weekends which take place in Hollywood Studios every year, in celebration of George Lucas’ famous science fiction universe.

If you’re planning to fly down to be part of the force during one of the four consecutive weekends between May 18, 2012 and June 10, 2012, here’s information to keep at your fingertips: Star Wars Weekends 2012 will be hosted by two celebrity hosts from 2011; Ashley Eckstein and James Arnold Taylor, two voice actors from the animated series, “Star Wars: The Cone Wars.”

Each weekend of the Star Wars Weekends event will feature a visiting celebrity voice actor from “Clone Wars.”

Celebrities coming to Star Wars Weekends 2012

While the celebrity line up is subject to change, the following is what we’re expecting for now in terms of celebrities slated to attend:

May 18 – 20

  • Dee Bradley Baker (voice of Captain Rex and Commander Cody, “Clone Wars”)
  • Ray Park (Darth Maul, “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace”)
  • Jerome Blake (Rune Haako/Mas Amedda, “Phantom Menace”)

May 25- 27

  • Ray Park (Darth Maul, “Phantom Menace”)
  • Tom Kane (voice of Yoda, “Clone Wars”)
  • Andy Secombe (Watto, “Phantom Menace”)

June 1 – 3

  • Jake Lloyd (Anakin Skywalker, “Phantom Menace”)
  • Silas Carson (Nute Gunray, “Phantom Menace”)

June 8 – 10

  • Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett, “Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back” and “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi”)
  • Daniel Logan (Boba Fett, “Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones”)
  • Michonne Bourriague (Aurra Sing, “Phantom Menace”)
  • Nika Futterman (voice of Asajj Ventress, Star Wars: The Clone Wars)

Get autographs from your favorites

Celebrities will be signing autographs with line ups being managed with a FastPass system. If you hope to get autographs, you’re advised to get there early and to prioritize this part of Star Wars Weekends as these opportunities for celebrity autographs are limited and in demand.
