Best rainy day Magic Kingdom attractions for kids
Disney Vacation Guide to the Magic Kingdom with Kids on a Rainy Day
Don’t let a little wet weather ruin your vacation to Disney World! There’s no need to stay inside the hotel all day when the weather’s not perfect. From restaurants and musicals to arcades and spas, there’s still plenty to do indoors at Disney World. And we’ll let you in on a secret…the parks tend to be much less crowded when it rains, so you might even have yourself a better time than on a hot sunny day. (Yes, we are eternal optimists!)
These are a couple of the Disney Vacation Guide’s favorite attractions to enjoy with children on a rainy day in the Magic Kingdom:
Country Bear Jamboree
Country music fans of all ages will have a downright toe-tappin’, knee-slappin’ good time – rain or shine – over at Grizzly Hall in Frontierland. Almost 20 lively backwoods Audio-Animatronic bears and various other woodland creatures entertain the audience of this country hoedown with songs such as, “My Woman Ain’t Pretty, but She Don’t Swear.” The show is sprinkled with humor and lots of unexpected surprises.
Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Raining in Florida? It’s also a blustery day in the Hundred-Acre Wood but from a very own slow-moving Hunny Pot little ones can stay out of the rain and tag along safely on a short adventure with Pooh and his friends. Everyone is there; Eeyore, Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo and even Gopher. Children all seem to love the fun lighting and whimsical music that serve to make Pooh’s adventures even more magical. This is a great indoor ride to enjoy in Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
If you visited Florida, would you get down in the dumps if it rained on your vacation, or do you think you’d just roll with the punches?
