Disney Vacation Guide: The Grand Floridian

On the white-sandy shore of Seven Seas Lagoon stands the opulent Victorian-style Disney Deluxe Resort with its trademark red-gabled buildings. The Grand Floridian is considered the flagship hotel of the Walt Disney World Resort. Here you’ll find the best of everything including world-class dining, excellent entertainment and lavish accommodations.

When you enter the resort the Grand Lobby will take your breath away with its 5 story ceilings, sparkling chandelier and stained glass.

Your luxurious room may offer a view of the wedding pavilion, one of the resorts pools, Cinderella Castle, Seven Seas Lagoon, the swaying palm trees in the garden or the marina.

There are six restaurants to choose from at the Grand Floridian. Will you pick Narcoossee’s with spectacular views of Seven Seas Lagoon? Or perhaps Citricos with its Mediterranean flavors? Will you grab a salad at the Quick Service  Gasparilla Grill & Games, or enjoy the tradition of afternoon tea in the charming light filled Grand Floridian Cafe?

There are some very unique dining experiences at this resort like Chef’s Table Dinner at Victoria and Albert’s.
