Disney Vacation Guide to 5 Most Memorable Desserts

The vast array of desserts to choose from in Disney World is rather astonishing. There are Mickey-shaped crisped rice treats all over the place, not to mention Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars, cookies, fudge, sundaes and just about anything else you could order up in the wildest of your dessert dreams.

If you’re a dessert lover and you want to narrow down your options, we’ve laid out what we feel are five of the most memorable sweet endings to your meal that Disney has to offer.

The Kitchen Sink

Over at Beaches & Cream in Disney’s Beach Club Resort (which also has one of the best burgers at Disney World) you can order a giant dish of ice cream topped with just about everything you can imagine. This is memorable, but it might be best shared among your entire family unless you want to spend the rest of your day with a belly ache!

Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake

The Liberty Tree Tavern in Disney’s Magic Kingdom has a dessert menu that will drive any sweet tooth crazy but you must try the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. This luscious dessert starts with a slice of moist vanilla cake with a gooey toffee filling then it’s topped with a yummy, sticky caramel sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Tie Dyed Cheesecake

At Disney’s Pop Century Resort you’ll find the wildest-looking dessert you’ve ever seen. The Tie Dyed Cheesecake is a layer of red velvet cake topped with a layer of multi-colored cheesecake. It looks wild but it’s creamy and delicious!

The Spaghetti & Meatball Cupcake

Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano features a delectable dessert on the kids menu that grown ups should not miss! This chocolate cupcake has “spaghetti” frosting topped with a chocolate “meatball” and it’s drizzled with a sweet strawberry “marinara sauce”! Don’t forget the sprinkling of white chocolate “cheese”!

‘Ohana Bread Pudding

At ‘Ohana in the Polynesian Resort there’s a deadly dessert just waiting for you. Disney World fans from all over tout this dessert as the park’s best. See for yourself why! A tender serving of bread pudding topped with ice cream, banana and caramel sauce. Yum!
