What you’ll see and get at Gaston’s Tavern [Photo Essay]
Disney News: An overview of Gaston’s Tavern
When you walk into Belle’s Village in the new Fantasyland, you can’t help but see Gaston’s Tavern in front of the fountain. From the stuffed heads of Gaston’s hunting escapades lining the walls to the food itself: gooey cinnamon rolls, chocolate croissants, fresh fruit cups and other delicious treats like roasted pork shank and Le Fou’s Brew.
Le Fou’s Brew
This no-sugar added tavern specialty comes in its own souvenir stein or goblet decorated with Gaston or a princess. The frozen apple juice drink has the distinct flavor of toasted marshmallow and is topped with a passion fruit-mango foam and looks just like a stein of beer. You can order the drink for half the cost without the souvenir, if you prefer.
Gaston Meet and Greet
Flex your muscles with Gaston, pose for a photo or get an autograph from this Disney character! You’ll find him strolling through the village near his Tavern, or, admiring his image in the fountain’s statue!
You can sit at tables in the tavern area or cozy up next to the stone fireplace where the hunting theme pervades into the antler chandelier and light holders or the hide-covered chair.
Along with Fou’s Brew and pork shank, there are healthy alternatives as well, from hummus and chips to a vegetable dip. For dessert, if you don’t want to bite into a rich chocolate croissant, you can opt for sliced apples with caramel sauce. There’s also apple juice and soy milk as alternatives.
What are you going to try on the Gaston’s Tavern menu?
