Disney News: Topiary designs to debut at this year’s 20th International Flower & Garden Festival

Each year, Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival sparks the imagination with flower towers, 240 floating mini-gardens and over 100 topiaries. Among the hands-on gardening seminars, design tips and other events, following are the new garden features and topiary designs that are in place for the 20th year of this annual festival:

Fab Five topiary

The front entrance at Epcot will be adorned with a 14-foot-tall topiary where Donald and Daisy Duck enjoy a game of badminton, Goofy holds the anniversary cake, Mickey Mouse is in charge of the barbecue, Pluto has the hot dogs and Minnie Mouse relaxes among a bed of flowers.

Illuminated Gardens

Along the World Showcase promenade and in Future World, the topiaries and gardens at Epcot will twinkle and glow in a new light.

“Monsters University” topiary

The popular Pixar film “Monsters, Inc.” comes to life with Mike and Sully along the Future World Walkway in a topiary that also features stars from the June 2013 release, “Monsters University”.

Phineas and Ferb topiary

If you’ve helped Phineas and Ferb at Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure, make sure you pose for a photo-op at their topiary behind Spaceship Earth.

Fawn’s Butterfly House

Make sure you see the eight whimsical Pixie Hollow fairy topiaries on the Imagination Walkway, including Tinker Bell, Fawn, Vidia and Terrence.
