Disney News: Cruise Line unveils First-Ever Miami Departures to Bahamas and Western Caribbean

On December 23, 2012, a Disney cruise ship will pull out from the Port of Miami, in a first ever departure.  You can choose from a three, four or five-night cruise from Miami with ports of call including Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman; Key West; Nassau, Bahamas, and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. In 2013, Miami will become a second Florida homeport in 2013 for sailings on the Disney Magic or Disney Wonder to the Bahamas and the Western Caribbean. Following are the itineraries for 2013:

Rates for Cruises

The cost varies depending on the type of room you choose but for a standard inside stateroom rates start at:

  • $609/person for a three-night cruise (based on double occupancy)
  • $500/person for a four-night cruise (based on double occupancy)
  • $575/person for a five-night cruise (based on double occupancy)

 Five-night Caribbean Cruise to Cozumel and Castaway Cay

  • March 2nd, 16th or 30th
  • April 13th or 27th
  • October 27th
  • November 10th or 24th

Five-night Caribbean Cruise to Grand Cayman and Cozumel

  • January 14th or 28th

  • March 11th or 25th
  • April 8th or 22nd
  • November 1st, 15th or 29th
  • December 13

Four-night Bahamas Cruise to Key West, Nassau, and Castaway Cay

Departure dates:

  • January 10th or 24th
  • February 7th or 21st
  • March 7th or 21st

Four-night Bahamian Cruise  to Key West and Castaway Cay

Departure dates:

  • November 6th or 20th
  • December 4th or 18th
