Disney Cruise Line offers hands-on adventure for youth at Castaway Cay
Disney News: Innovative Programming lets kids have even more fun at Castaway Cay
It’s hard to imagine a getaway for families that offers more fun for all ages than a Disney vacation. However, thanks to some innovative new programming with Disney Cruise Lines, children ages 3 through 12 can have more fun than ever before with a new way to customize their experience at sea.
While Disney Cruise Lines has a wide selection of activities for children to participate in, and they are recommended for certain age groups, each activity is open to all children from 3-12. This means that siblings or friends who have a gap in ages can all participate in the same activity, based on what they’re interested in!
It’s all about adventure with youth activities on Castaway Cay…
Kids learn how conservation can be lots of fun during Tracking Sense. The focus is on learning about endangered animals. Using telemetry tracking, children locate cotton-top tamarin monkeys (don’t worry, they’re plush!) in the same way that real scientists would.
The Dig at Monstro Point
Budding archaeologists will love The Dig at Monstro Point where there are all kinds of fun artifacts to discover. The most exciting discovery, though, will be the skeleton of a giant whale!
Search for Atlantis
Children explore Castaway Cay searching for special crystals which provide the life source for the lost city of Atlantis. But oh no! The lost language the ancient map is written in has to be decoded first…
Which of these Castaway Cay activities would your children most enjoy?
