Disney News: New bands performed at the International Food & Wine Festival

While some people were eating their way around the world at Epcot’s Food and Wine festival, others took in the bands that were playing at musical performances at the America Gardens Theatre during the Eat to the Beat! concert series. Among the favorites such as Air Supply, The Pointer Sisters and  Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, there were also four new bands taking the stage for the first time. Following are some photos:

Dennis DeYoung

On November 7th and 8, 2012, original STYX band members, Dennis DeYoung belted out the rock group’s chart busting hits like “Babe”, “Mr. Roboto” and Come Sail Away”.  A popular solo artists as well, DeYoung played to a full crowd.

Blues Traveler

Blues Traveler has been around for more than two decades, and their folk rock grooves continue to draw crowds, as happened on November 5th and 6th, 2012 at the America Gardens Theater for Eat to the Beat concert series.

Javier Colon

On stage for the first time, the winner of NBC’s The Voice, Javier Colon’s soulful voice swooned the crowds on October 13th and 14th, 2012 during the Epcot Food & Wine Festival.
